Formed in the 1600s as a gentleman’s residence, whilst in the mid 20th Century it was a locally renowned hotel, The Hall sits proudly as a Grade II listed building in the beart of the beautiful and picturesque village of Thornton le Dale.
Providing luxurious accommodation for 32 residents, all in en-suite rooms, this really is a retirement home of some standing. Whilst all en suite single rooms come with all the niceties one would expect in such a grand building, the later extensions provide wonderfully appointed apartments complete with separate lounge, en suite bathroom and bedroom.
Upon visiting The Hall, we think you will agree that the facilities we provide are unrivalled, with all rooms having views across the local beck or the beautiful stocked gardens, whereas internally the sumptuous surroundings will take you back to a bygone year of unlimited splendour. This is what our residents deserve... and we are honoured to provide it.
Upon purchasing The Hall,we immediately began the painstaking yet ultimately rewarding process of restoring this wonderful building to her former glory. Considered by many in the local area to be a sleeping giant, work was undertaken to reinvigorate the exterior fabric of the building and the extensive grounds. We then carefully set about transforming the interior to create an ambience that we believe is unrivaled anywhere else in Yorkshire.
